General Session FAQ
-Where are you located ?
Studio sessions take place at my studio in Moriches, Long Island NY.
Outdoor sessions can take place at the location of your choice. (Suffolk County, NY)
I can help with suggestions of local parks, fields, beaches etc.
-Do sessions include digital files or prints ?
All of the sessions that I offer include a set number of digital files.
You can choose which session is right for you.
Professional prints are also available as an add on to your session.
NEWBORN SESSION FAQ
-When should I book my session ?
I recommend booking your newborn session by the end of your second trimester. An approximate due date is all I need to reserve your spot on my calendar. When baby arrives, we can change your session date if necessary.
-When should my newborn session take place ?
Newborn sessions are best when done in the first 10-16 days after baby is born. In this first week or two baby usually stays very sleepy and will stay curled up in those adorable newborn poses.
-Approximately how long will my newborn session take ?
Newborn sessions can take anywhere from 2-4 hours. I try to keep them under 3 hours but every baby is different. We will take breaks as needed for baby to nurse and snuggle.
-Do I need to bring any special clothing / items to my session ?
My newborn closet is stocked with a large assortment of wraps, outfits, hats and headbands so there is no need for you to bring anything with you. If you do have a special blanket or keepsake that you would like to include in some of your photos, please let me know in advance. If possible, mention these items in our pre-session phone call so that I can prepare colors to match.
-Can our other children be in some of the photos ?
Of course ! Big brothers and sisters are encouraged to be a part of the session !
-How much does a newborn session cost and how many photos will I receive ?
There are three options for newborn sessions. Please inquire about current pricing.
